ABOUT

A New York-based freelance photographer specializing in fine arts and documentaries, Farras was born in Germany to Syrian parents. In July 2017 he finished the graduate program in digital photography at School of Visual Arts, New York. Farras has a PhD in electrical engineering and pursued research in computational neuroscience. His photos have been exhibited in various venues in New York City, Santa Fe, and elsewhere. His fine art explores the serenity of sparsity and absence of clutter; be it visual, acoustic, or mental.
